Issues

A.  Spare Boards

• They are starting to arrive.  Cheri noticed that testing rigs taken to McLane don't work for one of the tests with this latest version of Ruby.  That test needs a little fiddling with the gains.  She will work with Scott to fix that, then come up with a testing schedule that brings Paul Coenen into the loop to do some of this board check-out.

B.  Benthos Deck Box

• Doug sent out an all-hands request to look for our missing deckbox.  No response.  We are checking with Benthos to make sure they shipped us the returned box, after we returned their loaner.  Person to do that at Benthos is not in until Monday, so waiting. 

C.  Machine Blackout Covers

• We do not need anymore.  McLane my, and Cheri will put the manufacturer in touch to see.  Scott brought up point that covers are actually covering up a broken item.  The light seal should work, but doesn't, so that's why we need the curtain.  We should fix, but this item remains low priority.

D.  ISMS

• it was finally delivered to Harvard, but it's unclear whether Girguis actually has it or not.  Wayne sent plans, and they were supposed to re-do the wiring harness and get the instrument back to us by end of April.  Looks doubtful.  Wayne will be point of contact and also get dimensions of housing so Doug can start designing mounting hardware.

E.  D-ESP

• Drop weight tested, is good, and can be mounted.
• New bulkhead valves are in
• pressure transducers will ship April 27
• Sample-side is back together and Doug has been testing it daily.  It has yet to fail.
• will change gears and transducers when they come in, and be ready for Brent to tweak when he returns
• Have Bill Ussler as a 'featured speaker' at our April 20 Science meeting to discuss deployment on the methane mound.  We may need to increase our sampling tube length (max of 15m).

F.  Surface Can Lids

• Neo's current lid is populated from SC pier deployment; never been leak tested.
• Cheri will leak test and put older, leak tested lid from Moe onto NEO.
